Volunteer Opportunities to Unearth Our Ancestral Legacy
Welcome to the heart of our initiative! Our mission is to uncover and celebrate the rich history of the so-called Black inhabitants of Randolph County, Missouri, and beyond. We believe in connecting our Bloodlines, preserving our legacy, and rediscovering the true identity of the Indigenous Originals of North America.

Our website serves as a vital platform for assisting individuals in locating records related to their Ancestors. We’re on a quest to not only connect with long-lost relatives but also to build a comprehensive database that reflects the authentic history of our community.
Volunteer Positions
1. Field Researchers:
- Description: Embark on a journey to historical sites, including Randolph Historical Society Museums, to collect valuable data.
- Responsibilities: Document artifacts, record historical narratives, and contribute to our growing database.
- Requirements: Passion for history, attention to detail, and willingness to travel. Must be a descendant of Randolph County, MO.
2. Database Curators:
- Description: Work remotely at your own pace to organize, categorize, and curate the collected data.
- Responsibilities: Digitize records, maintain accuracy, and ensure the seamless functioning of our online database.
- Requirements: Strong organizational skills, familiarity with data management tools, and attention to accuracy.
3. Community Outreach Ambassadors:
- Description: Engage with local communities and spread awareness about our mission.
- Responsibilities: Connect with individuals, promote participation, and foster a sense of community. Interview the older descendants of Randolph County to collect data via oral history, artifacts, documents, photos, etc.
- Requirements: Excellent communication skills, passion for community engagement, and a friendly demeanor. Be prepared to capture important details on camera and/or audio for website inclusion.
