According to the advertisement published in The Randolph Citizen newspaper in Huntsville, Missouri, on September 13th, 1860, and by virtue of an order of the Randolph County Court, made at the July term, 1860, the undersigned Administrator of the Estate of Joseph Schooling will conduct a public sale on the second Monday in September next (being the first day of the Randolph Circuit Court). At this sale, one negro girl named “Sally,” aged 12 years, and a Negro boy named “Sam,” aged 14 years, will be offered. Six months credit will be extended, with bond and approved security required. The advertisement was posted by Administrator J. W. Gashwiler.
